Welcome to the South CentraL Friesian Horse Association Website!

Happy Holidays!

 

We are a FHANA chapter est. March 2005--with many more years of Friesian experience--for the southwestern states of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kansas, Arizona, and Arkansas--with a main presence in Texas--but we welcome all who love Friesians also from outside these states  to join in. It is our goal to share information, promote, network, support our studbook, and above all to have a good time with our Friesian horses. Club X-mas party for members on Sunday December 14 at the Castle in Rockwall TX!

Join in on the annual KFPS stallion show spectacle Thu-Sat Jan 8-10 in Leeuwarden with simultaneous translation in English by Anneke van den IJssel.

February 20-21, 2009: FHANA AGM at Castle Douglas in Rockwall TX!

On September 13 and 14 at the Equine Expo in Ft. Worth TX we had a whole Friesian aisle with 12 KFPS/FHANA Friesian horses, a breed booth, many enthusiastic members to answer your questions, and various demos. Keep an eye out for the pictures on Expo photographer Terrie Hatcher's website www.terriehatcher.photoreflect.com. 

On Tuesday September 30 the annual KFPS/FHANA keuring/studbook inspection took place at Stargate Sporthorses in Argyle TX. Click here for details and results. Join us again in 2009! View the pictures on www.wildmanephotos.com.

As a chapter of the Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA) we promote the purebred Dutch Friesian horse according to KFPS / FHANA regulations.
