Stay in-the-know as a member with our
newsletter and newsflash!
Membership to SCFHA is $25 per
household per year. Renewals are due by January 31 to remain on the list
without interruption, following the annual chapter renewal deadline of
the FHANA. As our membership year is a calendar year we have a tiered
fee system. If you subscribe or renew for 2008 the fee is $25 through
June 30. If you subscribe after June 30 the cost for the remainder of
2006 is $15. If you subscribe after October 31, please send in $25,
which will cover you through the following year.

Benefits

As a member you will receive frequent e-mail
updates (a regular newsletter twice a month and newsflashes for
time-sensitive news in between publications) with the latest club news and
activities. We share information, tips, network, socialize, advertise,
etc. through our platform. All communications take place by
e-mail. Find out the latest and the inside scoop much sooner
as a member!

You will connect with a large group of local
Friesian owners to network and socialize with and
learn from.

You may advertise with us for free as a
Full member with a range of choices: a newsy e-mail, an ad online, an ad
in the newsletter, or flyers at our club activities.

There will be regular meetings both to
discuss club business and to have a good time, and we plan club and
promotional activities as well as educational clinics for our Friesian horses and the FHANA,
in which you can participate as a member.

As a chapter we will be able to represent both
the purebred Dutch Friesian and their owners with a united south
central voice.

If you live outside of TX, OK, NM, MS, LA, KS,
AZ, and AR, perhaps belong to a different registry or do not have a Friesian but enjoy them you
are also welcome to join us.
Full and Associate Membership Status
According to FHANA regulations we have Full and
Associate memberships. A Full Member is a member with KFPS/FHANA Friesian
horses, who is in good standing with the FHANA, and who is not
already a Full member of another FHANA chapter.
Although we do not support other, conflicting (Friesian) breed associations
(such as membership to different registries and crossbreeding) the
requirement for Full Membership is to be a full FHANA member in good
standing and thus a Full Member can also be involved with other
registries, however, any use of our name and logo may only be used
in conjunction with promoting the FHANA horses. An Associate
Member is someone who does not own a Friesian, is already a Full
member of another chapter, is not a FHANA member or is a member of
another Friesian registry and/or crossbreeds without having a
separate Full FHANA membership. We encourage anyone who loves
Friesians to join us and join in as we welcome ALL who love Friesians.
Only Full members may vote, however, that does not
mean we will not take Associate information and opinions into account.
All members may
advertise with us but this may not conflict with our FHANA
regulations.
How to Become a SCFHA Member
If you would like to join the SCFHA please follow these
four easy steps.
1. Send in a check or money order in the
proper amount (see above)
made out to South Central Friesian Horse Association (or SCFHA) along
with:

fill out and print out our form by clicking
